Challenge
As part of the new Apprenticeships Diploma qualification which is the biggest change in Education for over 20 years it requires a complete revamp of how to deliver qualifications ready for students
The new apprenticeships diploma qualification requires a programme to create the policy, create the qualification and approve the qualification prior to being released to the student community
Approach
Create a strategy for developing the policy, detailing and designing the Diploma qualification and then getting it approved by the QCA
Set up a programme between the QCA, Dept for Education and governing body for Qualification approval
Create an organization of policy writers, qualification creators to develop the potential qualification and create a governing process for approaval
Outcome
Established a clear way to create and approve qualifications
Created over 40 new qualifications to support the new Apprenticeships qualification supporting the biggest change in education for over 20 years
