Approach
Working with the CIO COO and CTO to identify cost categories to investigate and ultimately assess
Utilising a zero based budgeting approach we identified all cost categories and related data, benchmarked and analysed the data to highlight key areas of concern and develop a criteria to support prioriisation
We then presented numerous opportunities to reduce the current cost base
Outcome
Reduced IT OPEX by 15% and CAPEX by 30%
Also highlighted key activities and behaviours that were responsible for increasing the cost base
Identified new ways of working to limit the ‘bad’ behaviours regarding spend
